Oregon Ducks vs. No. 23 Washington Huskies: How to watch, listen, and stream
The Oregon Ducks will be in the national spotlight this Saturday when they square off with the rival Washington Huskies.
Oregon, which landed at No. 6 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, is riding an eight-game winning streak and has been one of the hottest teams in the country since its Week 1 loss to Georgia. Washington, meanwhile, is on a three-game win streak and climbed back into the top 25 after a home win over Oregon State last Friday.
As fans of both programs are well aware, there is no love lost when it comes to the rivalry between the Ducks and the Huskies.
“I can’t really speak to anything that’s necessarily happened in the past. I think that there’s a thing called pride in performance in the way that we prepare and the way we execute the game,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said when asked about the rivalry earlier this week. “But generally for us, we want our pads to talk. And that’s the plan. We hit the grass, our pads are going to do the talking. This game means a lot to us. I’ve got a lot of respect for (Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer). He’s one of the winningest coaches in college football. He’s had a lot of success. And he’s kind of done it the hard way — come up from a small school and worked his way up and really busted his tail to get where he’s at.
“So there’s a lot of respect on my end for him and the job that he’s done. That being said this is the game we want to win and I know how important it is to all Duck fans.”

Notable quotes
Washington head coach Kalen DeBoer on what the rivalry game means:
“I don’t know if there’s a speaking engagement I’ve went to where they haven’t emphasized how important it is to beat the Ducks. It’s certainly important. It’s going to be fun, because we’ve put ourselves in a spot where it means something. They’ve got themselves in a spot where it means something. You’ve got the rivalry on top of it, and it looks like it’s going to be a great week weather-wise come Saturday. So it’ll be a fun weekend.”
Lanning on what makes Washington’s pass rush effective
“Those guys get off the ball. They’re really talented at end. I think they do a good job of scheming it up in the front, too, with mixing in some of the games that they played. They really play the run on the way to the quarterback at times. Those guys get off and are really impressive in the pass rush.”
