Oregon Makes Final Two for Nation's No. 1 Ranked Quarterback

Right on the heels of Oregon losing its quarterback commit to USC on Friday is some even bigger news. The Ducks have been a key school in the recruitment of five-star quarterback Jared Curtis since he decommitted from Georgia.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder is the No. 4 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings and is the top quarterback in the country. On Saturday Curtis announced his final two which included the Ducks and the school he was formerly committed to, Georgia.
Curtis has visited Oregon twice since backing off his commitment to Georgia in October. The Ducks have long been considered the biggest threat to Georgia since he opened things back up.
He will take official visits to both programs before making a new decision. There are currently no predictions from any analysts on his profile.

A three-year starter, the Nashville Christian (Tenn.) star has 7,665 passing yards and 92 touchdown passes. He’s gained 1,663 yards and scored 38 times on the ground.
On3 Comp: Matt Stafford
“Jared Curtis’ top shelf arm talent and ability to make plays outside of structure remind us of Matthew Stafford at the same stage. Curtis has a bigger frame than Stafford, while Stafford was more proven against top competition playing at a high level of Texas high school football.”
