Oregon Ducks sophomore outside linebacker Emar’rion Winston has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

The 6-foot-4, 255-pound outside linebacker played in 13 games for Oregon during the 2024 season, and recorded eight total tackles and one pass breakup.

During his two seasons with the Ducks Winston logged a total of 27 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss and two pass breakups.

He signed with the Ducks as a three-star (88.27 per On3 Industry) prospect in the 2023 recruiting class out of Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic High School. He was ranked the No. 490 player nationally, the No. 44 EDGE and the No. 4 prospect in the state of Oregon.

The defender followed in the footsteps of his older brother La’Mar Winston, who played outside linebacker for the Ducks from 2016 to 2019.

Winston is the second Oregon player at his position to enter the transfer portal at his position since the portal opened on Monday, joining true freshman Jaxson Jones from Yuma (Ariz.) Catholic.

The Ducks signed two outside linebackers this month from the 2025 recruiting class in four-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei EDGE Nasir Wyatt and On3 Industry four-star Houston (Tex.) Mayde Creek EDGE Tobi Haastrup.
