On today’s episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and Justin Hopkins break down No. 1 Oregon’s 45-37 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Big Ten Championship on Saturday night in Indianapolis.

Oregon’s offense got off to a fast start, while the defense was struggling all night. Penn State gashed the Ducks on the ground, rumbling for 292 rushing yards behind the duo of Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton. The Ducks did a solid job bottling up superstar right end Tyler Warren, but struggled to get pressure on quarterback Drew Allar, who played on of his best games this season.

Oregon Quarterback Dillon Gabriel threw for four touchdowns as Tez Johnson, Kenyon Sadiq and Terrance Ferguson all found the end zone through the air. Jordan James and Noah Whittington both had it going on the ground Saturday and complemented each other nicely.

And how can we not talk about the defense? Oregon won the turnover battle two to zero against Penn State, with cornerback Nikko Reed’s interception being the nail in the coffin.

The Ducks will now face the winner of Ohio State/Tennesse in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.
