On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and Justin Hopkins break down Oregon’s rise to No. 1 in the AP Poll following wins over Ohio State and Purdue. Dan Lanning has Oregon at top of college football in less than three full seasons at the helm of the Duck program.

Perhaps at the perfect time, the Ducks are heating up on the recruiting trail in both the 2026 and 2025 classes. Max and Justin also discuss Steve Wiltfong’s prediction for Oregon to land five-star Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy EDGE Zion Elee, who visited Eugene for the Ducks’ game against Michigan State a few weeks ago.

2026 five-star Nashville (Tenn.) Christian School quarterback Jared Curtis, the No. 1 player at his position named the Ducks his leader fresh off of his de-commitment from Georgia. A trip sounds like it’s in the works as Will Stein is in the mix for another top quarterback prospect.
