Oregon’s offense came out firing and took a 28-10 lead into the half but the Ducks were sluggish coming out of the locker room, as third quarter woes continue to hamper the team. Wide receiver Traeshon Holden stepped up in a major way after Dillon Gabriel‘s top target Tez Johnson was knocked out of the game early with an injury.
Oregon’s defense was stout and held Michigan to just 105 rushing yards on the day and limited Davis Warren‘s effectiveness as a passer. Tight end Coleston Loveland generated a majority of the offense for the Wolverines, who fall to 5-4 on the year following their national championship season in 2023.
Oregon returns home to Eugene next week for a matchup with the Maryland Terrapins.
