PODCAST: Vander Ploog Flips to Oregon | Ducks Turn the Page to Wisconsin

On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and Justin Hopkins break down the commitment of 2025 four-star Fullerton (Calif.) Troy tight end Vander Ploog. The 6-foot-6, 215-pound tight end flipped his commitment, dating back to June, from the Washington Huskies to the Oregon Ducks as Drew Mehringer and Oregon land their first tight end in the 2025 class just weeks before the early signing period.
Max and Justin get you up to speedo on the latest in Oregon Football recruiting including some of the big names that were on campus in Eugene for the Maryland game including On3’s No. 1 quarterback in 2026 Jared Curtis, 2025 four-star Auburn linebacker commit Elijah Melendez and what’s next at tight end, specifically with regard to four-star Kansas State commit Linkon Cure, who didn’t make it out to Eugene over the weekend.
