2026 three-star Oregon defensive line commit Viliami Moala is on the move.

The massive lineman confirmed with ScoopDuck that he is transferring from Salt Lake City (UT) Bingham High School to Willamette High School in Eugene, Oregon.

The 6-foot-3, 295-pound prep arrived at his new school on Wednesday after spending the 2023 season in the Beehive State. He also played at Davis High School and Brighton High School in Utah as well as Cactus High School in Glendale, Arizona during his prep career.

Moala committed to Dan Lanning and the Ducks in October after landing an offer in February. He flipped his pledge from Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans, who he had been committed to for one month.

He’s one of four defensive line commitments for the Ducks in the 2026 cycle. With this move Moala joins four-star defensive lineman Tony Cumberland at Willamette, who transferred from Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain between his sophomore and junior seasons.

Four-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei standout Tomuhini Topui, the reigning Trinity League MVP, and three-star Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco EDGE Dutch Horisk round out the defensive line haul for the Ducks so far in the 2026 class. Tony Tuioti, Tosh Lupoi and the Oregon coaching staff are also pursuing players like Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy five-star Maryland EDGE commit Zion Elee and Concord (Calif.) De La Salle defensive lineman Nemyah Telona.

Moala was one of a handful of Duck commits that was recently in Eugene for Oregon’s Junior Day recruiting weekend and he raved about how it felt like home.

“It was great. It was just like a regular trip, like I’m coming home,” he told ScoopDuck after the visit. “It already feels back home over here. So it was great to come back and reconnect with everybody, get to know the players a little better.”
