Five-Star+ OT Jackson Cantwell Down to Six Schools
2026 Five-Star+ plus Nixa (Mo.) offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell is down to six schools. The 6-foot-7 1/2, 305-pounder announced his updated group of suitors on Sunday morning and the Ducks made the cut.
Oregon was joined by the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Georgia Bulldogs, the Michigan Wolverines, the Missouri Tigers and the Miami Hurricanes.
Cantwell is rated a five-star+ plus (98.80) prospect by the On3 Industry Rankings. A five-star+ plus prospect is rated a five-star across all four major recruiting services (On3, 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN).
The same system ranks him the No. 1 player nationally, the No. 1 offensive tackle and the No. 1 prospect in Missouri.
He holds 30 scholarship offers from all over the country and is also an elite track and field athlete in discuss. After a dominant junior campaign that saw him win Gatorade Player of the Year award for Missouri, he’s been busy on the recruiting trail.

January was a big month for Cantwell, as he hosted coaches from Oregon, Georgia, Texas A&M, Miami , Ohio State and Michigan on campus at Nixa High School.
Oregon has one offensive line commitment in the 2026 recruiting class in Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei offensive tackle Kodi Greene, who’s been committed since August.
The Ducks are also in the running for a slew of other elite offensive line talent this cycle in five-star+ plus Baltimore (Md.) Georgetown Preparatory offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive tackle Keenyi Pepe, Fruitland (ID) offensive tackle Kelvin Olbot and San Francisco (Calif.) Archbishop Riordan offensive tackle Tommy Tofi among others.
