Four-Star Cornerback Brandon Finney Signs With Oregon
Oregon has announced the signing of four-star Owings Mills (MD.) McDonogh cornerback Brandon Finney. Finney has been committed to the Ducks since June 25, 2024 and is the first defensive recruit to sign with Oregon in the 2025 class on national signing day.
The six-foot-2, 185-pound defensive back was heavily pursued by Penn State and Michigan in the final month of his recruitment and the Ducks had to battle to hang on to his commitment.

Oregon’s coaching staff was able to get him back on campus during the team’s by week the weekend of November 22, which appears to have helped them solidify his pledge. Finney is one of two cornerbacks the Ducks already had in their 2025 recruiting class to start off national signing day, along with four-star Conroe (Tex.) cornerback Dorian Brew.
Oregon still hopes to add another cornerback in five-star plus Birmingham (Ala.) Parker cornerback Na’eem Offord, who’s verbally committed to Ohio State. The Ducks are battling against Auburn as one of the top schools in contention to flip him from his commitment.
