Last week ScoopDuck hit the road for a matchup between the Mater Dei Monarchs and the St. John Bosco Braves, two of the top high football programs in the country every year.

We got to see a handful of top Oregon commits and targets in action on both teams. Mater Dei is home to four future Ducks in 2025 On3 Industry four-star running back Jordon Davison, 2025 four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt, 2026 four-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene and 2026 On3 Industry four-star defensive lineman Tomuhini Topui.

As for St. John Bosco, 2026 three-star EDGE Dutch Horisk is one of the top defenders on this year’s Braves squad and is set to play his college football for Dan Lanning in Eugene. 2026 On3 Industry four-star wide receivers Madden Williams and Daniel Odom are two targets to keep an eye on for Junior Adams.

Mater Dei defeated St. John Bosco 59-14 in what would become a route Friday night in Santa Ana.
