Oregon former 5-star signee Kingsley Suamataia enters transfer portal
Kingsley Suamataia, Oregon’s freshman offensive lineman and former 5-star signee, has entered the transfer portal, ScoopDuck has confirmed.
The No. 32 overall player in the class of 2021, Suamataia played in just one game for the Ducks this season. The 6-6, 317-pound freshman dealt with injury issues early in the fall and has not found consistent playing time with the Ducks.
On Oregon’s latest depth chart, he was listed as the backup left tackle along with Dawson Jaramillo, but did not see game action Saturday after a slew of offensive linemen suffered injuries early in the game.
According to 247Sports, Suamataia is the 15th-highest-ranked recruit to ever sign with Oregon. He is the top recruit of Oregon’s 2021 class.

When a player enters the transfer portal, it means they are exploring options but does not confirm they are leaving the school. A player is free to withdraw their name from the portal.
At the time of this report, ScoopDuck has not confirmed if or where Suamataia intends to transfer.
