Oregon Forward Jadrian Tracey Enters the Transfer Portal

The ever-changing landscape of college basketball continues a wild transfer portal window. And in another twist, a player at Oregon that recently confirmed they’d return for the 2025 season has already had a change of heart.
Oregon men’s basketball forward Jadrian Tracey will enter the transfer portal sources confirmed with On3’s Jamie Shaw. The 6-foot-5 forward confirmed prior to the NCAA tournament he planned on staying at Oregon for another season.
Tracey was a part of the rotation for Oregon last season. He played in 35 games for the Ducks averaging 21 minutes per game. He averaged 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds last season. Tracey began his college career at St. Joe’s before transferring to Oregon two seasons ago.

There is a chance Tracey returns to Oregon but that could be considered unlikely.
Dana Altman has now lost two players to the transfer portal with Tracey joining Mookie Cook. The Ducks are still waiting on formal decisions from Jackson Shelstad and Kwame Evans about their futures. Earlier this week Oregon center Nate Bittle announced he would test the NBA Draft but will keep his college eligibility and will only return to Oregon if he plays another season of college basketball.
Meanwhile Oregon has a commitment from the transfer portal via Texas forward Devon Pryor. Oregon also is hosting Portland center Austin Rapp this week for an official visit. The Ducks also hosted prep big man Paul Mbiya earlier this week. Our Collin King has a report from Mbiya on his visit to Eugene here.
