The transfer portal window has nearly closed for Oregon. But it looks like Lanning will have one more departure as we head into the Spring.

Former Liberty (Ariz.) defensive lineman My’Keil Gardner has entered the transfer portal per On3’s Pete Nakos. The 6-foot-2, 275-pounder was a three-star signing for Lanning as part of his 2023 class.

Gardner had missed most of this 2024 season for Oregon with an injury.

The Ducks also lost Derrick Harmon and Jordan Burch from its starting defensive line group to the NFL. LB/EDGE Jaedon Moore, Emar’rion Winston and Jaxson Jones have entered the transfer portal from Oregon this offseason.

Lanning landed a big defensive line transfer in former USC defensive tackle Bear Alexander.

Oregon currently has the No. 8 ranked transfer portal class per the On3 rankings.
