Oregon holds ground in AP Poll following bye week

The Oregon Ducks held strong in the AP Poll and gained one spot in the Coaches Poll after it was on a bye week during Week 7.

The Ducks (5-0, 2-0 Pac-12) remained at No. 8 in Sunday’s updated AP Poll with 1,150 points.

Oregon is one of seven Pac-12 teams that cracked the top 25 of the AP Poll this week. Washington (No. 7), USC (No. 10), Oregon State (No. 15), Utah (No. 16), UCLA (No. 18), and Washington State (No. 19) also made the cut.

The Ducks are set to travel to Seattle next week to face the Huskies in a matchup that could have season-defining implications.

In the Coaches Poll, the Ducks jumped one spot to No. 8.

Washington (No. 6), USC (No. 9), Oregon State (No. 14), Utah (No. 16), Washington State (No. 19), and UCLA (No. 22). The Ducks leapfrogged the Trojans after they emerged with a 43-41 3OT home win over Arizona.
