Oregon injury report ahead of rivalry showdown with Oregon Stae
The No. 6 Oregon Ducks are about as healthy as any team can realistically hope to be at this point in the year.
But Dan Lanning’s squad does enter its regular-season finale against Oregon State with a few notable injury concerns. The Ducks will hope to be near full strength when they host the No. 16 Beavers at Autzen Stadium and look to secure a spot in the Pac-12 title game.
With kickoff a little over 24 hours away, here is a full injury rundown based on recent practice observations and the status updates provided by Lanning this week.
Out
RB Noah Whittington: Oregon’s star running back will likely miss the remainder of the 2023 season due to a knee injury, according to head coach Dan Lanning. One of the top backs in the Pac-12, Whittington rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in four games this season.
K Andrew Boyle: Oregon’s kickoff specialist has yet to play in a game this season due to injury. Dan Lanning said last week that Boyle is not expected to play at any point this season.
S Bryan Addison: Oregon’s starting free safety is currently taking time away from the team for personal reasons, Dan Lanning said in October. He has not played since the Ducks’ Week 5 win over Stanford and there is no timetable for his return.
WR Justius Lowe: The redshirt freshman receiver has been absent during the open portions of practice for over a month and is not expected to return during the regular season.
DB Daylen Austin: Oregon’s blue-chip true freshman has not practiced in several weeks and has not been in uniform for either of the past two games. He’s expected to be out again on Friday.

Questionable
WR Josh Delgado: The junior receiver is working his way back after suffering a significant leg injury during spring ball. He has been a full participant at practice for several weeks but has yet to play in a game this season.
DB Rodrick Pleasant: Oregon’s standout freshman cornerback played some significant snaps in the Week 11 win over USC. But he did not make the trip to Tempe last week and has been absent during the open portions practice for each of the past two weeks due to an undisclosed injury. CB
CB Jahlil Florence: Oregon’s sophomore starting cornerback has been playing through nagging injuries for much of the second half of the season. He started and played 35 snaps against Arizona State last week, but was absent during the open portion of Tuesday’s practice. If Florence is unable to play against the Beavers, expect Dontae Manning to start in his place.
Probable
DB Khyree Jackson: Oregon’s star cornerback left the Week 11 win over USC with an apparent injury and was on the sideline in street clothes for the entire second half. Jackson started and played 33 snaps against Arizona State last Saturday, though, and was full-go during the open portion of practice this week.
S Evan Williams: The Ducks’ standout senior safety left the Arizona State game with an apparent hand injury. Dan Lanning said on Monday that Williams will play against Oregon State, though. During the open portion of Tuesday’s practice, he worked with the first-unit defense during an 11-on-11 period and was wearing a large cast/club on his hand.
RB Bucky Irving: Oregon’s star running back was dinged up for the past few weeks and was a limited participant at practice on Tuesday. But that was likely just precautionary; it would be surprising if Irving wasn’t full-go against the Beavers.
