Oregon jumps one spot in coaches poll following win over Arizona
Oregon continued its climb in the coaches poll following Saturday’s blowout win over Arizona.
The Ducks, who clobbered the Wildcats 49-22 in Tucson, jumped one spot to No. 11 in Sunday’s updated poll. They tallied 885 points and now sit just one spot away from cracking the top-10 for the first time this season.
Oregon’s climb in the poll came at the expense of Utah, which lost to UCLA on Saturday. The Pac-12 featured four teams in this week’s poll. In addition to the Ducks, USC landed at No. 6, UCLA came in at No. 12, and Utah fell to No. 19.
Oregon and UCLA are slated for a highly-anticipated showdown in Eugene in two weeks.
