Oregon LB Jestin Jacobs: "I'm Extremely Healthy Right Now"
Last season Oregon fans got a glimpse of linebacker transfer Jestin Jacobs late in the season. Jacobs continued to work back from an injury that cost him more than half the early part of the year.
But this year he is back and going through Spring healthy. Jacobs talked about his decision to return for another season, being healthy and his leadership.

On helmet Communication:
“It’s been a great thing for the defense. It puts an emphasis on communication. It’s been a good thing for the whole defense.”
Decision To Return:
“It wasn’t a tough decision for me at all. I missed half the year. In my mind I had a lot left to prove. That’s a big reason why I wanted to come back.”
Being Healthy in the Spring:
“In my past I’ve had some injuries. A full offseason you get in a flow. When you’re injured and missing time, you can’t get in that flow. I feel like I’m extremely healthy right now. I feel really good.”

“On the field is my communication. Speaking with confidence. Knowing the front, what’s going on in the backend. Off the field just making sure I’m eating the right way, getting good sleep.”
On Chemistry w/ Jeff Bassa:
“I feel like it’s only grown. Just our relationship on and off the field. It’s all helped our chemistry. Not just with Jeff but with all of the linebackers. Our defense has been rolling that way.”
