Oregon Makes the Cut for Nation's No. 1 Tight End
One of the most discussed positions in this cycle for Oregon has been tight end. And while Oregon has two committed currently, a third remains in play.
Raymore-Peculiar (Mo.) tight end Jaden Reddell is the No. 1 ranked tight end in the On3 rankings. He is the No. 2 tight end in the On3 Industry Rankings however.
On Wednesday he announced his top five schools with a somewhat surprising inclusion of Oregon. The other four are Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Notre Dame.

“What made these five schools stand out are how they produce tight ends, how they use the tight ends in their offense, the relationships I have with the coaches and how they have consistently made me feel like a priority,” Reddell told On3. “I would say my visits to these schools were five of the best I have taken as well.”
The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder told On3’s Chad Simmons why the Ducks made the cut.
Oregon: “Oregon’s offense stands out. I like how they run it and how they utilize the tight ends in it. My relationship is strong with coach Drew Mehringer too. I am pretty close with him.”
