Oregon men's basketball 2023-24 schedule announced
The Oregon men’s basketball team will kick off its 2023-24 campaign in just over a month as it looks to return to the NCAA Tournament.
On Thursday, the Ducks’ official schedule was released with tip-off times. They will open their season against Georgia as part of the Hall of Fame Series in Las Vegas on Nov. 6 at 1:30 p.m. PT.
The highlight of Oregon’s non-conference slate is a Dec. 2 showdown with Michigan at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.
“We’re excited about bringing (Michigan) in on a Saturday. It should be a big ball game,” Oregon coach Dana Altman said.
The Ducks will open Pac-12 play on Dec. 28 against the USC Trojans in Eugene and then host UCLA two days later.

During its final year in the Pac-12, Oregon will host Arizona for the final time as conference opponents on Jan. 27 in a showdown that will air on FOX. The Ducks will travel to Tucson to face the Wildcats on March 2.
“Been here 13 years, you know, and I’m a little disappointed. I love this conference,” Altman said. “I like the travel, I like the rivalries, I like the conference. Change is always difficult and we’ve got some big changes coming up. But it’s also exciting. … I’m not sure about taking some of those long trips in January, February, March. You know, we haven’t had one weather delay in 13 years — I don’t think we’re gonna get away with that in the future.
“But I’m really sad to see the conference end — I really am. I like the Pac-12. I’ve been part of it for 13 years. I’m gonna miss going to the places every year. But at the same time, the Big Ten is exciting. … It will be big challenges for us.”
