Oregon offensive lineman Steven Jones says he will return for Ducks next season
Oregon got more positive news on Sunday regarding its 2022 offensive line.
Steven Jones, the Ducks’ versatile sophomore, said during the Alamo Bowl media day Sunday that he intends to return to Oregon for the 2022 season.
“As of right now I’m ready to come back for one more season and get after it with my O-line brothers,” Jones said. “So I’m excited.”
Jones split time starting four games at right tackle and eight at right guard this season and played 706 snaps in total, according to Pro Football Focus. He finished the season with a 63.9 grade from PFF after grading out at 72.2 in 2020.
Jones is the third Duck offensive lineman to officially declare he intends to return to school next season. Starting right tackle Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu and starting center Alex Forsyth are also set to return.
