Oregon offensive linemen Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu declares for NFL Draft
One of Oregon’s starting offensive linemen is headed for the NFL Draft.
Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu, Oregon’s junior right tackle, announced on Twitter Wednesday that he intends to enter the 2022 Draft.
One notable aspect of Aumavae-Laulu’s farewell message to Duck fans is that he intends to play in the Dec. 29 Alamo Bowl.
Aumavae-Laulu started nine games for the Ducks at right tackle and played in all 13 games. He is the second offensive linemen the Ducks will lose for next season, as George Moore has exhausted his college eligibility.

The 6-foot-6, 315-pound junior was an All-Pac-12 honorable mention selection in 2020 and played 635 snaps for the Duck in 2021.
Aumavae-Laulu is the second Duck to declare for the draft. Kayvon Thibodeaux announced earlier this week that he will not play the Alamo Bowl and intends to enter the draft.
