Oregon OL Commit Sandman Thompson Recaps SNL Visit
Oregon is off to a fast start with the class of 2025, with three 4-stars among its four commits and a No. 3 team ranking. And the lone 3-star in the fold is an offensive lineman from deep in SEC country.
Sandman Thompson of Eau Gallie High in Melbourne (Fla.) is a self-reported 6-foot-3 and 305 pounds. The On3 Industry Ranking pegs Thompson as the No. 420 player in the class of ’25 and the nation’s 25th best interior offensive lineman.
The No. 57 player in Florida told ScoopDuck that despite the commitment, he’s still looking around.
“I’m probably going to take some more (visits),” he said, “to Miami, UCF, Tennessee and Oregon.” Those are also the schools recruiting him the hardest.
