Players of the Game from Oregon's B10 Title Win
Oregon won the Big Ten Title in it’s first season in the conference, but who were it’s best performing players? This was a really hard one to choose defensively, but a very clear and obvious pick for offense.
Offense – Tez Johnson
The senior wideout recorded 5 receptions for 104 yards in the first half and has made up for the complete lack of production from every other receiver on the team. Tight ends are excluded from that for reference, as they have scored 3 of Oregon’s 4 touchdowns. Tez Johnson would finish the game with 11 receptions for 181 yards, and a touchdown. No other receiver had over 30 yards in this one. Tez Johnson is back.
Others in consideration: Dillon Gabriel and Jordan James
Defense – Nikko Reed
The whole defense was very below average tonight and Nikko Reed had a rough game. That being said, all of the momentum was on Penn State’s side and Nikko went and made a play. The game winner for Oregon undoubtedly.
Others in consideration: Dontae Manning and Derrick Harmon
