Oregon QB Commit Bryson Beaver Highlighted as one of Rivals' Biggest Offseason Stock Risers

Oregon’s summer is off to a strong start on the recruiting trail, and 2026 4-star Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta quarterback Bryson Beaver was one of the most significant additions of the bunch.
The gifted arm was one of four new commitments joining the fold for Dan Lanning and company in Eugene. Will Stein and the Ducks beat out Ole Miss, LSU and Auburn for the 6-foot-3, 195-pound passer.
The journey for both Beaver and the Oregon staff was a wild one. The Ducks were involved with a handful of blue-chip signal callers this cycle (Jonas Williams, Jared Curtis, Ryder Lyons, Matt Ponatoski) but they were able to win out for Beaver’s commitment, thanks in part to landing his final official visit in June.
“Before the visit I was pretty high on Ole Miss,”Beaver told ScoopDuck.”Then going into the visit I was really trying to keep an open mind. After the visit, I’ve just been talking to my parents a lot. After coming home from the visit and really thinking about it, Coach Lanning and Coach Stein called me a couple times after. I really felt the love and and the want and the desire that they want me there. And it felt special.”

There are few if any quarterback prospects who’ve seen their recruiting stock take off quite like Beaver. In the last month the former Boise State commit reeled in major SEC offers left and right and showed that he could hold his own with the nation’s best at tis year’s Elite 11 Finals.
It’s performances like that, that have him as one of Rivals’ biggest offseason stock risers.

Bryson Beaver entered the Elite 11 Finals as one of the hottest quarterbacks in the country. He was exceptional at his Elite 11 regional, received offers from Oregon, Ole Miss, and Alabama in a matter of days, and backed off his commitment to Boise State. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder validated his status as an off-season riser with his showing at the Elite 11 Finals. Beaver looked like one of the more talented prospects on hand. We felt his arm took a backseat to nobody in attendance.
The Southern California native has explosive arm power that effortlessly delivers from multiple slots and platforms. Aside from perhaps Dia Bell, no other Elite 11 Finalist is a more creative passer. While others may have been more consistent over the three days, we didn’t see anyone make more high-level throws. Beaver put it all together on Day 3, turning in perhaps the most impressive 7-on-7 session we saw, making several big-time passes while throwing for five touchdowns and zero interceptions. Currently a four-star prospect for On3, Beaver committed to Oregon following the event.
