Oregon QB Commit Dante Moore Sees Change in Rankings

Oregon’s top ranked commit, quarterback Dante Moore, finds himself as one of the most discussed recruits on Monday.
This comes after On3 and 247Sports both released rankings updates following the 7-on-7 and camp circuit from the Spring and early Summer.
Moore has been Oregon’s top-ranked commit since his announcement on July 8. Just behind him has been wide receiver commit Jurrion Dickey.

Moore saw a slight change in the On3 rankings Monday morning. He’s now the No. 43 player nationally and No. 6 ranked quarterback. Which is two spots up from his No. 45 ranking prior to the update.
With 247Sports he saw a big jump however, moving up to the No. 2 player in the country nationally.
Moore’s current On3 Consensus Ranking, which equally weights the four major rankings (On3, 247, Rivals, ESPN) has him as the No. 10 player in the country and No. 4 quarterback.
Here is what On3 had to say about Moore.
Oregon commit Dante Moore (No. 43) is one of the more refined and polished pocket passers in the cycle. Moore turned in strong showings as one of the top quarterbacks at both OT7 and the Elite 11 Finals. The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder excels in structure and is highly accurate. He picked apart defenses in live settings in the short to intermediate areas. As was the case before the summer, we’re looking to hone in on Moore’s athleticism and individual playmaking ability in the fall and all-star games.
As for 247Sports, here is what they noted on Dante Moore as well.
The Detroit King quarterback standout’s rise in the Top247 now sees him at No. 2 nationally with a very strong case for Arch Manning‘s No. 1 spot, something that was discussed at length numerous times leading up to Monday’s release.
Manning and Moore are Nos. 1 and 3 among the 14 Top247 quarterbacks in career pass attempts, providing extensive live game context. Manning is first in career completions, Moore second. Moore is No. 1 of the 14 QBs in passing yards, Manning is No. 2. And Moore and Manning reside at 1-2 in career TD passes. Moore is committed to Oregon.
