One of Oregon’s top commitments in the 2026 recruiting class is coming home.

2026 Texarkana (Tex.) Texas High running back Tradarian Ball took to social media on Tuesday to announce he will be back in Eugene for a visit when the No. 7 Ducks (1-0) take on the Boise State Broncos (1-0) at Autzen Stadium.

Ball, a 5-foot-10, 190-pound tailback, committed to Oregon on July 27 during a visit for the Ducks’ Saturday Night Live camp. He chose the Ducks with over the likes of Texas, Texas A&M, LSU and Michigan, who were all recruiting him.

His return trip to Eugene will be his first since pledging to Dan Lanning. The touted ballcarrier hasn’t stopped hearing from other schools since his commitment, as he made the short trip to College Station over the weekend to visit Texas A&M for their game against Notre Dame.

As a sophomore in 2023, Ball rushed for 1,225 yards and 12 touchdowns while catching 24 passes for 400 yards and six touchdowns through the air.

Ball is the third running back that has committed to Oregon since the hiring of coach Ra’Shaad Samples, along with Jordon Davison and Dierre Hill Jr. in the 2025 class. He’s the second highest-rated commitment (No. 74 Natl.) in Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class, which ranks No. 1 in the country according to On3.
