Oregon RB Target Dierre Hill Sets Commitment Date
It would appear some of the dominoes are lining up for Oregon football recruiting. Later today Oregon looks to get on the board with Mater Dei (Calif.) EDGE/LB Nasir Wyatt who announces at Noon (Pacific).
A week from today they might add another piece to the class with Althoff Catholic (Ill.) athlete Dierre Hill set to make his commitment. His mother tells On3’s Chad Simmons he will make his commitment Friday, May 10 at 12:30 PST. Nearly one week to the hour after Wyatt’s commitment.
Ole Miss, Oregon, Ohio State, Illinois and Missouri are his finalists.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder is the No. 140 ranked player in the On3 Industry Rankings. He is the No. 6 ranked athlete nationally. Hill figures to end up at running back as a college player.

The four-star visited Oregon last week for its Spring game. He gave some very high remarks for his visit with ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and meeting Ra’Shaad Samples for the first time.
“My first impression was he’s a very cool and good coach. I can tell just from out to jump, just how he interacted with just everybody, including his players. And he’s very smart. Our conversations where he sees me as a guy who could come in and potentially do big things there and be a part of the success that they have there already.”
Hill rushed for 1,700 yards and had 26 total touchdowns during his junior season.
