Oregon Recruiting: The Full Nelson Report
Welcome to this week’s edition of The Full Nelson.
There isn’t a ton going on in the recruiting world, so it’s going to be a shorter edition – but still with some solid updates.
***VIP Intel on Weekend Visitors***
Oregon is an early standout for 2025 DB
If Jae’on Young were to commit right now, Oregon would most likely be the choice. Washington is the Ducks’ main competition, but coach Demetrice Martin has done a great job early on.
Would Oregon take him this early? I’m not sure. But if they wanted him, I think they can get him.
Dallas Wilson impressed on his first visit to Oregon
Dallas Wilson is going to look around and visit SEC schools, but I get the feeling Oregon is where he wants to be.
The visit was great for both sides, as he got to talk with Junior Adams and came away super impressed. He even got courtside tickets to a Portland Trail Blazers game.
Update on Bryce West following midweek visit
Oregon made a strong impression on Bryce West – and his mother.
Being from Ohio, distance is an obvious potential problem for Oregon. It’s going to be very tough to beat Ohio State or even Michigan, so I wouldn’t be optimistic.

Top 2024 target on quack watch
Kamar Mothudi of Campbell Hall School in Los Angeles (Calif.) has been a name to know for Oregon fans for a while.
Mothudi visited Oregon last weekend, and it reaffirmed my previous report that Oregon is the team to beat. In fact, I’d say he’s the recruit I’m most confident in Oregon getting right now.
