Oregon releases uniforms ahead of Week 12 showdown with Utah
The No. 12 Oregon Ducks will be looking for a bounceback win on Saturday when they host No. 10 Utah in Eugene.
Ahead of the season-defining showdown, the UO athletic department revealed the Ducks’ uniform combination for the game.
They are already drawing rave reviews.
The Ducks and Utes are scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT at Autzen Stadium.
Saturday will also mark senior night for the Ducks and offers the programs’ fans a chance to celebrate Oregon’s veteran players in what will be the final chance to play at home for many of them.
“This is one of those ones where you finally feel it,” Oregon head coach Dan Lanning said on Wednesday. “You see it. You wait for this moment all year, and I know this game means a lot to those guys and means a lot to our team too, to send those guys out on the right foot.”

During his Monday press conference, Lanning was asked about what the Utah game will mean to Oregon’s team as a whole. The Ducks suffered a pair of crushing losses near the end of last season, the first of which knocked them out of College Football Playoff contention.
While Lanning was not with the program last season, he made it abundantly clear that he understands what the game will mean to Oregon’s players.
“I think this game means a ton. And I think our guys are playing for each other and they want to do well for each other. That this team really cares about each other, which is important and I think they all have a taste in their mouth from last season. You know, some of the guys weren’t here and some guys were, but they want to go perform. They want to go perform to their ability.”
