Oregon Remains Atop College Football Playoff Rankings
The second edition of the college football rankings saw some updates. Moments ago ESPN released the rankings which debuted last week and with no surprise, Oregon was the No. 1 team.
There were some upsets however this week resulting in some changes in the top ten.
The Ducks remain on a collision course for a rematch with Ohio State in the Big Ten championship game in a few weeks. If each team wins out in the regular season it would put the No. 1 and No. 2 teams against each other in Indianapolis.
Oregon currently holds wins over the No. 2 and No. 11 ranked teams in the updated rankings. If the current rankings held, Oregon would have a first round bye and then play the winner of Notre Dame/Tennessee in the Rose bowl.
