Oregon Remains No. 1 in College Football Playoff Rankings
It should come as no surprise but Oregon is once again the No. 1 ranked team in the only ranking that matters. The college football playoff committee released the rankings Tuesday night on ESPN moments ago.
The Ducks were on a bye this week making it a pretty easy choice for the committee. However because of some upsets this week the committee had some tough decisions to make.
Oregon holds wins over the current No. 2, 11 and 23 ranked teams in the playoff rankings.
With the current rankings, Oregon would be on a bye the first week of the playoffs. The Ducks would then face the winner of the Georgia vs Tennessee first round game.
Up next is the regular season finale for Oregon at home with rival Washington.
