FanDuel currently lists Oregon as a -8.5 favorite over Washington ahead of the Pac-12 rivals’ highly-anticipated rematch at Allegiant Stadium in las Vegas.
When the Ducks and Huskies met in Seattle on Oct. 14, Washington emerged with a close-fought 36-33 win. Oregon had a chance to send the game to overtime, but Camden Lewis’ potential game-tying field goal sailed wide.
Since that loss, though, the Ducks have bounced back by producing six consecutive wins. During that stretch, they have outscored their opponents by a combined margin of 252-96.

“I think ultimately, every single player in that locker room knew what was in front of us,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said following last Friday’s win over Oregon State in Eugene. “And we knew we wouldn’t get there if we didn’t do a good job of focusing on the task at hand. And that’s really what it’s been about. It’s been a bit about each day. It’s been about each moment. It’s gonna be tomorrow, it’s not gonna be about Washington, either. It’s gonna be about the Ducks, and what are we going to do tomorrow to be better?
So we kept the focus on us and what’s in front of us, and we know we’ve got to play good teams to get where we want to be. But again, playing our best ball — how can we get better? We talk about a growth mindset in this program. I think we have a bunch of guys that are like, ‘Okay, how can I improve? How can I get better?’ That showed up tonight.”
While speaking with reporters on Tuesday, Oregon quarterback Bo Nix was asked what the key has been to staying on track after the Week 7 loss in Seattle.
“When it came down to the big games and the big moments as the year went on after we lost one, we’ve just made those situations work,” Nix said. “We’ve made those plays when we’ve needed them and we’ve had huge wins since. We’ve put ourselves in situations to play for a championship. All we have to do Friday is just go out there and execute at a high level and don’t beat ourselves. I think when we do that and we put ourselves in the best situations possible, I think we have a really good chance. They’re sitting over there saying the same thing. It’s going to be whoever can execute at the highest level and whoever can make plays when their number is called. The good thing we’ve had these past few weeks to really build off of and to go out there and be confident when our name is called to go make plays.
