Oregon surges in coaches poll following statement win over UCLA
After their 45-30 beatdown of UCLA in Eugene on Saturday, the Oregon Ducks have firmly cemented themselves back in the national spotlight and made a leap in the national rankings.
In Sunday’s updated USA Today Coaches Poll, the Ducks (7-1, 4-0) climbed two spots to No. 8 and are now the top-ranked team in the Pac-12.
Oregon received a season-high 1,125 points.
At this point, No. 6 Alabama is the only one-loss team ranked higher than Oregon.
Elsewhere in the Pac-12, USC (No. 11), Utah (No. 14), and UCLA (No. 15) all cracked the top-25.
