Oregon surges in team recruiting rankings following Dante Moore's commitment
Oregon fans got the news they had long been waiting for Friday morning.
Martin Luther King (Mich.) 5-star quarterback Dante Moore committed to the Ducks, becoming the highest-ranked commit at the position in program history. Moore chose Oregon over the likes of Texas A&M, LSU, Notre Dame, and a host of other elite program, marking a monumental win on the recruiting trail for offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham.
With Moore’s commitment, the Ducks have now soared up the 2023 national recruiting team rankings.
Coming into the day, they raked 14th nationally in the On3 consensus team recruiting rankings.
Shortly after Moore announced his commitment on SportsCenter, the Ducks surged all the way up to No. 9 — one spot ahead of Mario Cristobal’s Miami Hurricanes.

With Moore’s commitment, the Ducks now have 11 verbal commitments in their 2023 recruiting class. Moore becomes their first 5-star, and they have also notched commitments from six 4-stars and four 3-stars.
