Oregon TE Commit Flips to Tennessee
Oregon has suffered another blow on the recruiting trail. Although this one seems to be slightly less surprising.
Following a visit to Knoxville to check out Tennessee once more, Derby (Kan.) tight end DaSaahn Brame has flipped his commitment to the Vols. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder committed to Oregon over Tennessee originally at the end of June. Just a few weeks later he has had a change of heart, committing to Tennessee.
For Oregon it’s a bit of a blow given the Ducks need tight ends in this class. It’s one of the position groups on roster with the least amount of depth currently and for the foreseeable future. Recently Oregon lost out on five-star Linkon Cure who committed to Kansas State and four-star Kaleb Edwards who committed to Alabama.

Oregon is left without a tight end commit in the 2025 class now with most of the top options committed already. It’s going to be interesting to see how Dan Lanning pivots to fill out his roster at this position.
Brame is the No. 4 ranked tight end nationally and No. 101 ranked player overall in the On3 Industry Rankings.
