Another key contributor for Oregon softball is on the move.

Rachel Cid, the Ducks’ starting third baseman, announced on Twitter Friday that her Oregon career has come to a close as she is entering the transfer portal.

Cid has started at third base for the Ducks for the last four seasons. She started 39 of the 40 games she played in 2022 while hitting .252 with a .288 on-base percentage and 12 extra-base hits. She drove in 13 runs for the Ducks this season and made just one error at third.
