Oregon Trending for 5-Star OT Brandon Baker
Dan Lanning has Oregon trending for a number of high profile recruits around the country. However there might not be one bigger or more important to this 2024 class for the Ducks than Mater Dei (Calif.) offensive tackle Brandon Baker.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pounder is the No. 26 ranked player and top-ranked offensive tackle in the On3 Industry Rankings. Baker has been a top priority of this staff for well over a year and it’s paying off as a huge Summer gets started.
On3 is hosting its inaugural NIL event in Nashville this week. And one of the recruits generating the most buzz is the five-star offensive tackle.
Oregon currently has a commanding lead in the On3 RPM for Baker at 85.6%. This comes off a recent prediction from On3’s Chad Simmons logging a 60% prediction earlier today. Simmons joins me and my 70% prediction dating all the way back to Oct. 25.

Baker is currently working on an official visit date with the Ducks. He’s likely to be in Eugene during the busy month of June. He has officials locked in with Ohio State on June 9 and Georgia on June 23.
Florida State and Texas are also two programs high on his list also working on hosting him for an official visit.
