Oregon Visits Florida Safety, Named Leader
We know Oregon loves to scour the country for talent. Dan Lanning has signed prospects from states all over the country since his arrival to Oregon.
He’s got his eye on another state of Florida prospect. This time it’s an intriguing athlete from Eau Gallie (Fla.) and has some versatility.
At 5-foot-11, 185-pounds, Xavier Lherisse has some versatility. However he will likely play safety or nickel at the next level. Although he isn’t a top 100 recruit or an elite prospect, he was visited by Dan Lanning, Tosh Lupoi and Chris Hampton this week. Which illustrates Oregon’s interest in Lherisse.
Although he’s a relatively newer name to Oregon fans, he might be one you need to track moving forward.
“It was incredible,” Lherisse said of the visit by Oregon coaches. “The coaches at Oregon really care about me and have made me a priority from the beginning. The visit today was just another reason why I love the Oregon program so much.”

The three-star safety did not mix up his words on where Oregon stands.
“They are at the top of my list. I love everything about them and my relationship with the coaches is top notch.”
Lherisse talked about the brief interaction with the Oregon coaches.
“My conversation with them today was the same as always. I am a top priority for them, and they are going to do whatever it takes to make me a Duck.”
As one would expect, Oregon is working on getting him on campus this Spring.
“I will go back out there in April to watch spring practice.”
These are some of the schools Lherisse said are showing the most interest currently:
Notre Dame, Auburn, Clemson, FSU, Texas A&M, UCF, Michigan, UGA and Penn State
