Oregon women's basketball announces former USC guard Sadie Edwards as assistant coach

Kelly Graves has officially rounded out his Oregon coaching staff.
On Monday, the Ducks’ women’s basketball program announced that it has hired Sadie Edwards as an assistant coach, filling the vacancy left by former assistant Mike Moser, who accepted a coaching position with the Boston Celtics last month.
Edwards will join the Oregon staff after serving as basketball operations manager for the New York Liberty during the current WNBA season. She will finish the season with the Liberty, who will face the Chicago Sky in an elimination game on Tuesday.
“We were all impressed during the entire process with Sadie’s knowledge and passion for the game,” Graves said in a press release. “She loves and lives basketball. Sadie excels in player development and scouting, two of the most important aspects in the game. She has a great ability to connect with people, especially our young student-athletes.
“Her experience as a high-level player, successful college coach, as well as her WNBA experience will positively impact our program.”

A 2018 USC graduate, Edwards starred on the court for the Trojans from 2015-18 and averaged 11.9 points in 82 career games, including 72 starts. She began her coaching career as a graduate assistant at Indiana.
“I am so excited to be joining the staff at Oregon,” Edwards said in a press release. “It is such an incredible opportunity to be able to represent an institution that competes at the highest level. I am thrilled to be a Duck and am looking forward to getting to Eugene and getting to work!”
