Oregon women's basketball cracks top-25 of preseason AP Poll

The women’s basketball preseason AP Poll was released on Tuesday, and the Oregon Ducks have landed in the top-25.
The Ducks, who are coming off a 2021-22 campaign that ended in the first round of the NCAA tournament, have landed at the No. 20 spot in the preseason poll. They received 206 points.
Oregon was one of three Pac-12 teams to crack the top-25. Stanford (No. 2) and Arizona (No. 19) are the others.
The Ducks went 20-12 last year and 11-6 in Pac-12 play before suffering an upset loss to Belmont in the Knoxville region of the NCAA tournament.

They have reloaded with an influx of talent that includes blue-chip recruits Chance Gray, Grace VanSlooten, and Jenna Isai.
South Carolina was the unanimous No. 1 team in the AP Poll and received all 30 first-place votes. Stanford, Texas, Iowa, and Tennessee rounded out the top five.
