ESPN and Rivals continue to bring his On3 Consensus ranking (39) down. ESPN ranks him at No. 200, Rivals at No. 157.
Here is the report from On3 regarding Dickey’s rise.
Oregon commitment Jurrion Dickey climbed 20 spots in this update and cemented himself as one of the premier pass-catchers in the 2023 cycle after a dominant effort turned in at OT7 earlier this summer. Dickey, who is a bit of a hybrid receiver/tight end at 6-foot-3 and 210-plus pounds, is only 16 years old.
Dickey is a force in the passing game in the short, intermediate and deep passing game. His strong hands and big frame allow him to make plays in the middle of the field, yet he can make plays downfield as well. He creates physical mismatches routinely and has a rare combination of size, speed and athleticism.
Dickey is Oregon’s second highest-ranked commit in the 2023 class behind quarterback Dante Moore.
Oregon has the No. 13 ranked class nationally.
