Oregon wide receiver Tez Johnson was interviewed on Tuesday after Fall camp. He talked about the wide receiver room and a lot about the defensive backs this Fall.

Here are some of the top questions Tez answered and the full video posted below.

Comparing Bo/Dillon:

“They are both great quarterbacks. Bo is taller. They both have similarities, great arms, very smart, really passionate for the game.”

On the DB’s/Secondary

“Every play has been tough. Last year I could figure it out a little bit just knowing where I could go. But this year they got me thinking a lot. That back end is going to be really good. They challenge me every day.”

On Brandon Johnson:

“He’s fast too. When you find a guy that can match your speed it’s gonna be pretty tough. Not all of your go-to routes are going to work so now you got to work on new things. BJ is going to be really good for us. He’s smart. He’s like Evan (Williams) was but at the nickel position.”

On Jurrion Dickey:

“Jurrion came in a little beefy. We always joke around with him. He’s cut weight, he looks really good. He’s more confident knowing the plays. He’s faster and his routes are a little sharper. 99 was horrible. 99 was not the number. The number change can help his drip.”

Jhop’s Take:

Music to our ears hearing about the secondary. I always like hearing one position group talk about another and saying how they challenge them. It would appear even though Brandon Johnson was a late arrival, he’s already making plays in the secondary against a talented wide receiver group. I think like most Oregon fans, I wondered how this secondary would gel and it sounds like the Ducks are going to be solid there.
