The accolades continue to roll in for Oregon shortstop Drew Cowley.

The Ducks’ star senior, who helped carry the program to its first Super Regional since 2012, has been tabbed as a third-team All-American by Perfect Game. This marks the second time this month that Cowley has received All-American recognition after Collegiate Baseball tabbed him as a third-team selection.

In 63 games this season, Cowley slashed .341/.425/.631 with a team-high 70 RBI and 22 doubles along with 16 home runs. He set the school record for RBI.

Cowley was one of four Oregon players who received ABCA second-team All-West Region honors earlier this week.

A senior who began his career at Cal Poly Pomona, Cowley was a mainstay at the top of the Ducks’ batting order throughout the past two seasons. He, along with Tanner Smith, Gavin Grant, Josh Mollerus, Matt Dallas, and several other seniors helped lead the Ducks to the Eugene Super Regional, where they fell one game short of the College World Series.

“This group brought interest to Oregon baseball that’s never had this level of interest,” Ducks’ head coach Mark Wasikowski said following Sunday’s season-ending loss. “The community, the fans, the student section, the environment that we got to experience was directly related to this senior class and draft class.”

A total of 10 Pac-12 players were honored among Perfect Game‘s year-end All-American and all-freshman teams. Stanford infielder Tommy Troy and right-handed pitcher Quinn Matthews were the lone Pac-12 players to receive first-team All-American honors.
