Mase Funa has been named the Pac-12 defensive lineman of the week following his performance in Oregon’s Week 4 win over Washington State.

The junior outside linebacker racked up four tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss during the Ducks’ 44-41 win over the Cougars. His most significant contribution came late in the fourth quarter when he jumped the route on a screen pass and grab a game-sealing pick-six.

Funa’s Pro Football Focus grade for the game was 86.7 — the best of any Oregon player.

Funa’s selection comes one week after Oregon’s Brandon Dorlus was co-defensive lineman of the week.

No. 13 Oregon will look to extend its winning streak this weekend when it hosts Stanford in Eugene. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. PT.
