Oregon's players of the Game vs Washington
The Ducks finally got that sour taste out of their mouth in regards to losing to Washington, winning the rivalry game at home. Dan Lanning is now 1-3 against Washington over his tenure and this one was never in doubt, thanks to the following players.
Offense – Jordan James
James has been a difference-maker from the jump in this one, helping Oregon establish a dominant first drive. Jordan James wasn’t too available after however, but still had 10 carries for 60 yards and 2 touchdowns at the half. James reached 99 yards in the matchup, and was also able to record 40 receiving yards which I’m sure Dan Lanning loves to see. James barely played in the second half which should help keep him healthy for next week’s Big Ten Championship against Penn State.

Other very impressive offensive players: Noah Whittington, and Traeshon Holden
Defense – DE Matayo Uiagalelei
Uiagalelei has a stellar freshman campaign and has delivered a terrific sophomore season. Through the first half, this rivalry game was no different. Matayo recorded 4 tackles, 1 TFL, and a sack in the first half, bringing his sack total up to 9.5 on the year according to ESPN. Matayo would record his second sack of the game on Washington’s first drive in the second half. Matayo’s performance tonight was just a fraction of the defense’s success for one of the rare times this season. Oregon tied the single game record for sacks in a game with 10.
