Pac-12 Review: Week Three Winners and Losers
Well we are rolling along into the college football season. And I don’t know if you blinked or not, but we are already 1/4 of the way through the regular season. Let’s enjoy it while we can.
Oregon won. We all know that. But it’s time to take a look at the rest of the Pac-12 conference from this weekend.
Last week I went 8-2 overall with my picks. Let’s see how I fared this week.
UCLA Edges out South Alabama
Jhop’s Pick: UCLA
I got this one right but barely. Chip Kelly really tried to give this one away. Tough win, but still a win nonetheless. 32-31 Bruins.
Notre Dame Gets Win No. 1
Jhop’s Pick: Notre Dame
I pretty much picked Notre Dame to win since they were the home team. My 24-20 score prediction wasn’t far off. (24-17)
Oregon Gets the Dub
Jhop’s Pick: Oregon
Good win for the Ducks.
Colorado is Really Bad
Jhop’s Pick: Minnesota
At this point the AD might as well just fire Karl Dorrell after his comments on Sunday. Minny routed the Buffs 49-7.
The Cougs are Good
Jhop’s Pick: Wazzu
Time for Oregon to get ready for a very tough road game. Washington State handled Colorado State 38-7.
Huskies Down Michigan State
Jhop’s Pick: UW
I felt like this was a bad matchup for Michigan State. Tough road game, I wasn’t sold they were legit to begin with. UW played well. 39-28

Trojans Smoke Fresno State
Jhop’s Pick: USC
Lincoln Riley keeps winning. Now let’s see how they fare against the Beavers this week. That’s a fairly popular upset pick at the moment. 45-17
EMU Gets Herm Canned
Jhop’s Pick: ASU
Herm ruined my perfect week. Ultimately landing him in the unemployment line after this loss. The ASU coaching search is definitely going to be interesting to watch. 30-21
Arizona Eeks One Out
Jhop’s Pick: Arizona
North Dakota State definitely tested Arizona. But credit Jedd Fisch for getting that program heading the right direction. Still lots of work to do however. 31-28
