We’re still a few months away from the 2024 NFL Draft, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to look ahead to the 2025 Draft.

This week, Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports released his list of the top 20 draft-eligible prospects who are returning to college for the 2024 season. A pair of Oregon Ducks made the cut.

Rising junior offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. and incoming transfer receiver Evan Stewart both landed on Fornelli’s list. Ohio State, Georgia, and Michigan are the only other programs that featured multiple entries.

As a true sophomore in 2023, Conerly took hold of Oregon’s starting left tackle job and performed well. He played 901 offensive snaps, the most of any of the Ducks’ offensive players, and garnered a 68.7 overall Pro Football Focus grade.

Conerly was an all-conference honorable mention selection.

A former four-star signee who was the gem of Oregon’s 2022 signing class, Conerly was the No. 38 overall prospect in the nation according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Here’s the rundown from Fornelli on Conerly:

Much like the QB class for next season, I’m not confident about who will be seen as the top tackle in next year’s draft. Last year, it was Penn State’s Olu Fashanu and Notre Dame’s Joe Alt. Several candidates could step up this year, and Conerly is one of my favorites. Oregon’s offensive line was a significant strength last season, and Conerly was excellent in pass protection. He has the production and the traits to garner NFL attention.

Although Stewart has yet to play a snap for the Ducks, he is one of the more highly-touted transfers in program history.

A former five-star signee with Texas A&M, Stewart was the No. 8 overall prospect and No. 2 receiver in the 2022 signing class. He entered the transfer portal this offseason and chose the Ducks over a flurry of offers from marquee programs.

Stewart caught 38 passes as a sophomore last season, he caught 38 passes for 514 yards and four touchdowns.

Here’s what Fornelli had to say about Oregon’s star wideout:

“Like (Luther Burden), Stewart was one of the top receivers in the 2022 class. Unlike Burden, Stewart performed slightly better as a freshman than in his sophomore season. Still, most of that can likely be attributed to circumstances beyond Stewart’s control. Stewart has since transferred to Oregon, where he’s seen as the replacement for Troy Franklin in the Ducks’ offense. If Stewart puts together a big year in gold and green, he could play his way into the first round.”
