A pair of Oregon Ducks landed on the watch list for the Walter Camp Award, which is given annually to the top player in college football.

Senior quarterback Bo Nix and junior running back Bucky Irving were among the 45 players selected by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Oregon is one of nine schools with multiple players included, along with Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Texas, and Washington.

USC quarterback Caleb Williams won the award last season.

Former Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota is the only player in program history to win the award.
