On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and Justin Hopkins react to the news of 2026 four-star American Fork (UT) Lone Peak defensive lineman Bott Mulitalo decommitting from Oregon. The news comes on the heels of a visit to Washington for the Huskies’ Junior Day Recruiting weekend.

Mulitalo was one of Oregon’s top defensive line commits this cycle, but this news comes with a bit of an interesting twist. Mulitalo has decided that he wants to pursue a college football career playing offensive line rather than defensive line. Oregon is looking at some elite targets on the offensive line this cycle, so it stands to reason Mulitalo is a bit of an unknown as an offensive line prospect.

In other recruiting news Dan Lanning and the Ducks hosted five-star Nashville (Tenn.) Christian quarterback Jared Curtis and his family for a multi day unofficial visit. This was a pivotal visit as it could be the last opportunity Oregon had to see him face-to-face before he makes his college commitment.

Now Curtis heads to Athens for an unofficial visit to Georgia, a school he was committed to at one point in his recruitment. Max and Justin also discuss four-star linebacker Talanoa Ili, who will return to Oregon this week as the Ducks kick off spring football practice.

The start of spring practice comes with a lot of new faces on this year’s Oregon team, but a surplus of talent to replace numerous departures.
